MLB.TV adThe first steps in a barter deal with ad agency InStadium Inc. and MLBAM kicked off at the Superbowl, when ads for MLB.TV were placed within bathrooms at Dolphin Stadium, as well as for the Orange Bowl at the same venue prior.

The ads tout a 10% discount for the online video streaming service through a specially created website on MLB.com. As reported by Eric Fisher of the Sports Business Journal:

“This was a bit different for us since we usually stick to our own platforms: the Web site, game programs and the like,” said Noah Garden, MLBAM executive vice president for e-commerce and sponsorships.
