Bizball Radio

Welcome to another edition of Bizball Radio

This week we lead off with the latest on the NFL labor issues, how increased TV ratings for the NBA playoffs might factor into the labor talks, plus the NHL's new broadcast deal with NBC/Versus.

For our second edition, we interview Seattle Mariners and NFL Sunday Night Football on Westwood One announcer Dave Sims. We talk to Dave about the loss of Dave Niehaus, what stands out with this year's Mariners, how the NFL lockout might be impacting the broadcast industry and much more.

Finally, I hit the in-box and answer the question, "What would it take me to own an MLB franchise?"

Bizball Radio is available each week on the Business of Sports Network, as well as on iTunes, here:

If you listen via iTunes, please take a moment to review the podcasts so we can work to improve the product!

Thanks to producer Ted Price, here's this week's edition.
