Officials from the Can-Am League Nashua Pride announced today four new hires to bolster their front office this off-season. Chris Morgan has been named the new Director of Sales. Also joining the revamped sales staff are Briana Lynch, Michael Harold and Andrea Dempsey.
Morgan joins the Pride organization with over 15 years of sales experience in professional sports having worked for the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Miami Heat, Arena Football and LPGA events. Most recently, the Manchester, NH Native was responsible for selling all of the initial suites and club seats at the Verizon Wireless Arena before entering the world of promoting nationally recognized concerts in New Hampshire and Maine through a partnership with Clear Channel Entertainment Boston. As the Director of Sales for the Pride, he will be responsible for driving the entire sales revenue of the franchise in both the ticket and the sponsorship departments.
Lynch is a 2006 graduate of Emerson College, where she majored in Marketing Communications. As a student, the Ipswich, MA native focused on sports marketing and interned at the TD Banknorth Garden. She also spent a semester with the arena football team, the Los Angeles Avengers, in their public relations department.
Harold comes to the Pride’s full-time staff after spending the 2006 season as an intern. The UMass-Amherst alumnus spent the summer of 2005 as an intern for Fox Sports Net New England. He has also spent time with Entercom Boston as part of the promotions team representing SportsRadio WEEI 850 AM and The Talk Station in Boston WRKO 680 AM.
Dempsey is also a 2006 graduate of Emerson College and majored in Marketing Communications. The Billerica, MA native worked as the Director of Public Relations for WERS 88.9 FM and also spent a semester in Los Angeles, CA where she interned for M80, an online and grassroots marketing agency.
