MLB.com's Ed Eagle reports that the Dodgers avoided arbitration with outfielder Jason Repko signing him to a one-year deal worth $500,000. Repko spent most of last season in Albuquerque, the Dodgers AAA affiliate in the Pacific Coast League, posting a .277/.329/.471 line in 433 plate appearances.
His signing reduces the number of arbitration eligible players to 141. The arbitration filing deadline is Friday, January 15th, 2010. Please visit the The Biz of Baseball's Salary Arbitration Filings page for more information
