MLBVladimir Guerrero of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Pedro Martinez of the NLCS winning Philadelphia Phillies, as well as Chone Figgins, Jim Thome, and Miguel Tejada highlight the 39 players that have elected free agency pursuant to Article XX B (2) of the Basic Agreement on the second day of players eligible for free agency filing to do so.

There are 14 days left in which players may give notice of their election of free agency (see the complete list of 183 potentially eligible)
