The Biz of Baseball Wants YouThe Biz of Baseball is looking to add two members to their staff.

We are looking for volunteer blogger that is available throughout each day to file short posts detailing MLB transactions such as free agent signings, trades, contract extensions, DFAs, etc.

We are also seeking someone available throughout the day to file short injury reports.

Below is an example of the format that these individuals would file under:

Braves Sign Garrett Anderson to 1-Year Deal

After missing out on Ken Griffey, Jr., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that free agent outfielder Garrett Anderson has signed a 1-year deal with the Braves reported to be worth $2.5 million.

Anderson hit .293 with 15 home runs, 84 RBIs and a .325 on-base percentage last season, including 14 home runs in 433 at-bats against right-handed pitchers. He has spent his entire 15-year career with the Angels.

Interested applicants need to be available for postings throughout each day (weekends optional). Some experience with using blogging tools preferred.
