IndiansThe Cleveland Indians today announced that WILLIE JENKS has been named the Visiting Clubhouse Manager.  Jenks replaces Cy Buynak, who recently retired after 45 years with the organization, the last 13 of which he spent as Visiting Clubhouse Manager.

Jenks, who has been working under Cy in the Visiting Clubhouse since the 1996 season, is a native of Brecksville , OH and graduated from Holy Name High School and the University of Akron .  

Also today the Indians promoted SCOTT BARNSBY to South East Crosschecker.  Barnsby has been an Area Scout in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi & the panhandle of Florida over the last several seasons after beginning his tenure in the Indians organization as an Intern in the Baseball Operations Department.

Also today the Indians named BILLY RYAN Area Scouting Supervisor for Georgia, South Carolina , and North Florida & GREG SMITH Northwest Area Supervisor and Canadian Crosschecker.
