MLB Network will launch in the U.S. to approx. 50 million homes on New Year’s Day, but those in Canada and other international markets will not get the new 24/7/365 network dedicated to all things Major League Baseball, according to the new network.
“Currently MLB Network is not distributed in Canada,” said MLB Network in a statement. “We are looking forward to our launch in the United States on January 1, 2009 and we hope to be able to expand the distribution of the Network to baseball fans in Canada and other international markets in the future.”
Look for more details, should MLB Network become available outside the U.S. in the future.
