Jason Grimsley has said that the players listed within an LA Times artilcle implicating them of using performance enhancing drugs, did not use steroids. And, in in the case of Brian Roberts or Jay Gibbons, there was never any mention of them at all to federal agents. As reported Grimsley's lawyer said, "As to all five players [including the Houston Astros' Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte] named, Jason did not attribute steroid use to any of them," the attorney, Ed Novak, said in yesterday's edition of the Arizona Republic.
"There was no mention of Roberts or Gibbons at all," Novak said. "The agents didn't even mention Roberts or Gibbons."
He said investigators brought up Pettitte's and Clemens' names and Grimsley strongly rejected the idea that either would use performance enhancers. (The Baltimore Sun)
