RaysEverything is currently coming up roses for the Tampa Bay Rays with word today that the '08 ALCS Champions have reached a deal with FSN Florida for another 8 years, through 2016 according to John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal/Daily.

According to Ourand, "Specific dollar figures were not immediately available, though a source said FSN was paying a 'significant boost in rights fees in exchange for all local telecast rights.'"

The Rays saw a 99% increase in television ratings from a 1.74 last season to a 3.47 rating this season. They also doubled total households from 31,000 in '07 to 62,000 in '08.
