More than 330 players and on-field staff members from the 30 Major League Clubs plan to wear number 42 in celebration of 2008 Jackie Robinson Day on Tuesday..
For the second consecutive year, Commissioner Selig will allow any player, manager or coach to wear number 42 as part of Jackie Robinson Day festivities. Nine Clubs - the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Mets, the Oakland Athletics, the Pittsburgh Pirates, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Tampa Bay Rays, the Texas Rangers and the Washington Nationals - will have their entire rosters wear number 42. Three of Tuesday's games - Nationals-Mets, Pirates-Dodgers and Angels-Rangers - will feature all uniformed personnel wearing number 42.
The players, managers and coaches who have indicated thus far that they intend to wear number 42 include the following, subject to change:

Entire team * - Rivera is the last player to regularly wear number 42 since Commissioner Selig retired the number throughout Major League Baseball on April 15, 1997.
