Tickets for the March 29th exhibition game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox at the LA Coliseum go on sale tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am PT.
The Dodgers are playing in the Coliseum as part of their 50th Anniversary celebration of arriving in Los Angeles.
The LA Coliseum was the first home for the Dodgers upon relocation from Brooklyn. The team played there from 1958 to 1961 while Dodger Stadium was being built.
According to Ballpark Watch, the Dodgers hosted an All-Star game and three World Series games in 1959 at the Coliseum. Attendance exceeded 92,000 for each World Series game, and the attendance of 92,706 for Game Five is an MLB record. In only their second year in Los Angeles, the Dodgers won the 1959 World Series.
