Dodgers, Andruw Jones Reach Agreement on $36.2 mil Deal PDF Print E-mail

Andruw JonesFree agent center fielder Andruw Jones and the Los Angeles Dodgers have reached a preliminary agreement on a two-year deal worth $36.2 million. As reported by The AP:

Jones will receive a $12.2 million signing bonus, of which $5.1 million is payable next year, $2.1 million in 2009 and $5 million in 2010.

He well get salaries of $9 million next year and $15 million in 2009.

Jones will also get a no-trade clause as part of the deal. 

The completion of the deal is contingent on Jones passing a physical.
