The Baltimore Orioles have extended their radio reach to the Atlantic Ocean, as the club today announced a partnership with Ocean City station WKHZ-AM 1590. WKHZ-AM will begin broadcasting Orioles games for the remainder of the season beginning this weekend. “We are thrilled to add WKHZ to our ever-expanding Orioles Radio Network,” said Orioles Director of Communications Greg Bader. “We recognize that Ocean City is a popular vacation destination for many Marylanders and fans throughout the region. This partnership will not only benefit Ocean City’s resident Orioles fans, but it will also allow those fans traveling to Ocean City to keep up with the ballclub.” The partnership increases the number of Orioles Radio Network affiliates to 24 stations in four states – Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia – and Washington, DC. Nine of the stations are new to the Network in 2007. Select Read More to see all of the Orioles Radio Affiliates.
