Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP) and vineyard vines have entered into a partnership to design and distribute a line of men’s and women’s accessories, swimwear and sleepwear. This agreement marks the first time vineyard vines has partnered with a major professional sports league. The MLBP licensed vineyard vines line will be sold initially at Major League Baseball Clubhouse shops, vineyard vines retail stores and MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball. The collection is now at retail at MLB.com and will be available at the other retail shops within the month.
Financial terms were not released. According to MLBP, "The line will consist of neckties, bowties, cummerbund sets, men’s and women’s belts, women’s sashes, men’s and women’s sleepwear, men’s and women’s swimwear and boxer shorts. The pieces will be reflective of the classic vineyard vines preppy-chic style.
