Those on the West Coast will be sleeping. Some on the East Coast, as well. But, Tuesday marks the beginning of the 2008 Major League Baseball season in a game that should simply be called "Dice-K Returns".
The season opener in Japan will see Japanese national treasure Daisuke Matsuzaka return as the Red Sox starting pitcher against Joe Blanton of the A's. Who has home field advantage? Call this game "Fenway Park East" as Matsuzaka is the main attraction playing at home in Japan for the first time since signing his six-year, $52 million deal (plus, $51.1 million posting fee) with the Red Sox. The game will air on ESPN2 at 6am ET, 3am PT. Set your alarms early and officially welcome MLB back for another season.
