 It's been one heck of a great ride over the last year...
What started off as an extension of SABR's business of baseball website, turned into something far bigger. What started as Interviews, Documents, and Articles, ballooned into a news resource for MLB, MiLB, and Independent League baseball. We starting tracking those in violation of MLB's Drug Policy. We added the 2007 Post-Season Broadcast Schedule, and much more. The Biz of Baseball became a key resource for those focused on the the media, especially the negotiations around MLB Extra Innings and the upcoming The MLB Channel, which includes a list of the carriers that will have The MLB Channel when it launches in 2009. We added Manager Salaries, a list of all foreign born players, a list of the alcohol policies for all clubhouses, and a current list of all owners in MLB. That was just a handful of additions to The Biz of Baseball over the course of the year. All of that has transpired did not come without assistance, coverage in the media, and those that were willing to be interviewed to add insight into baseball off the diamond. Below is a list of those that have helped us over the last year, the biggest of which is you, the reader of the site. Without you, there would have been no incentive to grow.
